Tales the Reading Raccoon is a Colorado native. Tales loves oatmeal cookies, hide-n-seek, parades, silly jokes, and of course, reading lots of great books. In fact, no raccoon you've ever met likes a good book more than Tales.
Tales has an older sister and brother, who like to tease him, and so many cousins no one can count them all. Tales' mother and father are very proud of their whole family. They think Tales' job as the library mascot is very, very cool.
Tales loves to meet new people in the library and hopes to meet you in person someday soon.

Flik the Chipmunk is always on the lookout for fun! Flik can guide you to safe online games and activities, plus great community events. Enter the monthly coloring contest and see what Tales is doing! Print the page, color it and bring it to your library for a chance to win a prize!

World Book Online covers almost all science and social studies topics! Log on to any of these databases from your home computer using your library card number.
Swoop the Owl
Swoop the Owl is an excellent reader who can show you great books to read. Look for award-winning and bestselling books, online books and books recommended by librarians. Find authors, book reviews, and more. Be sure to check out TumbleBooks where you can have stories read to you or play games.
