Librarians will select up to 10 items and put them on the hold shelf of the branch you request. You will be notified when your materials are ready for pick up.
Books and audio books are checked out for 3 weeks. DVDs and videos are checked out for one week. All materials may be renewed 2 times, if there are no outstanding holds.
Four days notice is required to give the librarians time to gather your materials and process your request.
Although many materials will be available within 4 days, with a little more time (1-2 weeks) we can request items from other library systems through the Prospector partnership.
Remember that there may be a high demand for certain subjects, and that the library may only own a few titles on your topic or at your requested age level.
At this time, this service can provide a maximum of 10 items per request, and one set per teacher per week. When you pick up your materials, you will be provided with a list of search strategies and research tips that you may use to select further materials on your topic. If you need more than 10 items, feel free to place holds yourself on additional items online and have these items sent to the branch of your choice for pick up.
If you have any questions, please call 303-LIBRARY (303-542-7279) and ask to speak with a Youth Services Librarian.
